I'm alive... kinda.
It has been quite the year. quite. the. year.
I bought my first outright-mine vehicle.
I lost the privilege to contact my then closest friend, I made a ton of more friends via going outside and networking events.
I was, at the time, one of two people in the world creating 100% accurate realistic runtime lighting for UE4 and made a VR demo/ something I was proud of artistically for the first time ever.
I got noticed by a few studios out in LA and have been in on and off talks for most of the year(I have an interview IN LA next week).
I was apart of the exhibitor sales team for the world's largest arcade/gaming festival.
Made a game by myself in a month that helped the booth I was in win best in show at said festival.
I took an art test for Sony (failed, but learned so much)
I picked up fencing again. I'm competing in Canada this weekend.
I visited an old friend in Chicago and really grew to a new level/understanding in my struggle to cope with my brother being terminally ill, and leaving behind my dependency on others as a social crutch.
I'm actually 100% financially independent for the first time in my life, student loans and car payment included. (reaaally happy about this, it's about time)
I gained 54lbs and ballooned at a desk job, but then worked my ass off and lost 27lbs... and damn if I don't feel great physically.
I'd say the year has been 70%good~30%bad give or take 10%. Those numbers may not seem good, but for me, it's the best result in the past 5~6 years.
Anyways... that's about it.
